Privacy policy
Short version: this website has no tracking, no advertising, no cookies of its own and no accounts. The only personal information involved is what you give to Gumroad if you buy something or download the free cheat sheet, and Gumroad — not us — is the merchant of record and the primary processor of it.
This website
landlordledgerhq.com is a set of static files hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and has no login, comment or contact form. We do not build a profile of you, and we cannot — nothing on the page reports back to us.
As with any website, GitHub's servers keep standard technical logs of requests (IP address, timestamp, requested file, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are held by GitHub under GitHub's privacy statement; we don't have access to them and never see individual visits.
Pages on this site link out to third parties (Gumroad, the IRS, HUD, the FTC, GitHub). Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.
If you buy the toolkit or download the free cheat sheet
Both go through Gumroad, which handles checkout, delivery and payment. When you buy or download, you give Gumroad your email address and — for paid orders — your payment details and whatever billing or tax-location information Gumroad requires. Gumroad processes that under its own privacy policy and terms.
What reaches us, as the seller, through the Gumroad dashboard: your email address, the product and price, the date, and Gumroad's country-level location for tax purposes. We never receive your card number or full payment details.
We use that information only to deliver the files, answer support questions, and process refunds.
Downloading the free cheat sheet or buying the toolkit adds your email address to our Gumroad customer list. We may occasionally email you about updates to the files you own, or a genuinely useful landlord tip — a handful of times a year at most, never daily, and never sold, rented or shared with anyone.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send, or by writing to support@landlordledgerhq.com. Unsubscribing does not affect your access to files you've bought.
Where the law requires opt-in consent for marketing email, Gumroad's checkout is where that consent is given or withheld; transactional messages about your order and your downloads are sent regardless, because they're part of delivering what you paid for.
If you email us
Mail to support@landlordledgerhq.com is forwarded to a personal mailbox so a human can answer it. We keep support correspondence for as long as it's useful for supporting you and for our own records, and we don't use it for marketing.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what customer information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Write to support@landlordledgerhq.com and we'll deal with it — normally within a few days and at most within 30 days. If your request concerns purchase or payment records held by Gumroad, we'll tell you so and point you to them, since we can only act on what's in our own hands. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Deleting your details doesn't cancel a purchase; if you also want a refund, see the refund process.
Children
This is a product for landlords. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle email will be announced in the email itself.
